How has working with Lisa helped you?
“I have always been a relatively healthy eater but over time, the weight kept creeping on. I wanted to lose some weight for a while, not because I was obese (as I know I’m not), but because I was uncomfortable in my skin. Thinking as I get older my metabolism is slowing so this is what happens right? This is just how it’s going to be from now on!
I got to a point where I was just sick and tired of being tired, lethargic, bloated and un-happy with how I looked in the mirror. The big kicker was that most of my clothes where now too tight for me and I refused to go shopping for bigger ones.
So I contacted Lisa to help me lose a little bit of weight as I knew she had a good program and most importantly, it was a program with real food that helps reset your metabolism.
When I began I knew I had to be organised, because if I wasn’t, old habits would creep in. My weakness, Chocolate and lots of it. I made sure I had none in the house or my draws at work as I was determined to get back into my clothes. Once I prepared myself, I began the program.
I will admit, the first week was easy, it was the second week that I really craved chocolate and cakes. I almost gave in by eating a triple choc cookie but after chewing the first bite, I felt so bad that I was going to fail already, I spat it straight out. I did however beat the cravings and haven’t looked back.
I have also had people offering me naughty foods with the comment “come on, one won’t hurt you”, but I was determined to succeed and would walk away from the temptation.
I have felt so much better about myself since starting Healthpointe. I’ve had comments on how good my skin looks. I can see that the whites of my eyes are clearer and the best part is that I can actually wear my jeans again without having to un-do the top button. All this without any exercise regime other than taking my dog for daily walks.
I am amazed this has actually worked without exercise and that now I have concurred the weight loss, my sights are now set on exercising to tone my body. With Lisa’s help, I’m sure I will succeed. Watch this space………….” Stace
